Senior Management:

Joe Muldowney


Joe joined Urner Barry in 1989 as a COMTELL sales representative. In 1992, he became a market reporter for Urner Barry’s Red Meat Report, then called “The Yellow Sheet.” During his career at Urner Barry, Joe has been responsible for sales, marketing, and customer care. Additionally, he has also overseen the red meat division of the company.

Further to his role of CEO, Joe also has the responsibility of Chief Commercial Officer for Urner Barry. In addition, he reports on several red meat markets and is editor of Urner Barry’s Red Meat Report.

Joe has served on the Board of Directors for the North American Meat Processors Association, was a member of the NAMP Program Planning Committee and was chair of their 2005 Management Conference. He currently serves on the Intellectual Properties Committee of the North American Meat Institute.

Joe graduated from Siena College in Loudonville, New York, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.

Joe and his wife Joanne have two sons, and reside in Toms River, NJ.

Jim Kenny


In his role as COO, Jim has primary responsibility for content and products. Additionally, he is a member of the Senior Management Group and leads Urner Barry’s Seafood Division.

Jim graduated from Monmouth College in West Long Branch, NJ with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a concentration in finance. He was later conferred a Master of Business Administration by Monmouth University.

In addition to his duties at Urner Barry, Jim was a contributing editor to Meat Processing Magazine, served on the Annual Meat Conference Advisory Committee, and was an annual convention chairman for the 2008 North American Meat Processors Annual Convention. Jim is active in several industry trade associations and is a graduate of the National Fisheries Institute Future Leaders Program.

Jim’s professional interests include strategic planning, product development, and sales and marketing activities. He brought the Commercial Guide to Fish and Shellfish to market, along with numerous other products.

He joined Urner Barry in 1994 as national accounts representative in their instant market news division and was later promoted to the position of boxed beef market reporter. He also served as manager of the Instant News Department for the firm, was previously Director of Business Development, with additional responsibilities in the areas of pork and seafood market reporting. Prior to joining Urner Barry, Jim worked for The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company and independently at the New York Stock Exchange.

Jim and his wife, Melissa, have one son, Christian. They reside in Wall, NJ.

Chris Ashley

Senior Vice President

Chris works with both large and small scale clientele, fulfilling business and personal design, printing and mailing needs. Chris’s professional interests are operations, planning, and customer service.

Chris graduated from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He later received a Masters of Business Administration from Monmouth University in NJ.

Chris joined Urner Barry in 1995 as the Associate Editor of the Yellow Sheet. He also served as manager of the Instant Market News Department for the company.

Chris and his wife, Meridith, have one son, Christian and two daughters, Ava and Mia. They reside in Marlboro, NJ.

Frank McQuarrie

Senior Vice President

Frank is the IT Director at Urner Barry.

Frank graduated from Glassboro State College (presently named Rowan University) in 1988, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

He made his first job interview out of college count as nearly three decades later he is still with Urner Barry. Hired as a computer programmer and network administrator, he was assigned to create a new front end to the satellite version of COMTELL.

In 1995, Frank wrote the company's first website ( along with configuring whatever needed to be done to host the site on the "web." In 1998, with the stability of the internet no longer a question, he wrote a new version of COMTELL using the internet as opposed to satellites for its content delivery.

Due to his long career and unparalleled experience, Frank has a unique understanding and appreciation for Urner Barry's information and the user's expectation when viewing. His focus is in keeping up with progressing technology without compromising the presentation of the data.

Frank resides in Freehold, NJ, and is married with three kids.


Bill Smith


Bill Smith is a market reporter for Urner Barry where he is responsible for reporting on the boneless beef, lamb, veal and by-products market.

Additionally, Bill’s responsibilities include managing the Instant Market News Department for Urner Barry.

Bill also acts as the building manager for the company and has been heavily involved in making Urner Barry an eco-friendly “green” company with the addition of solar panels, among other environmentally friendly company initiatives.

Bill graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, PA with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Management and upon graduating college in 2001, he joined Urner Barry as an account manager in their sales division and was later promoted to the position of market reporter.

Bill and his wife Marisa have a son and a daughter, Will and Lindsay. They reside in Bayville, NJ.

Dylan Hughes

Poultry Market Reporter

Dylan joined Urner Barry in December 2017 as a market reporter covering the chicken and turkey markets. In this role, Dylan provides in-depth coverage of the poultry markets while helping to analyze and effectively communicate the complexities that surround current market situations to the benefit of our subscribers.

Dylan graduated from Stockton University with a B.A. in Business Studies and is pursuing his master's from Colorado State University.

In addition to his responsibilities as a market reporter, Dylan is a contributing writer to Urner Barry’s Reporter newsmagazine. He often appears in UB's Daily Market Video, showcasing his weekly market analysis pieces.

Gary Morrison

Vice President

Gary Morrison is a market reporter/analyst for Urner Barry where he is responsible for reporting the boxed beef and beef variety markets. He is also responsible for analyzing macro themes and economic data to see how they relate to market conditions, pricing trends and buying patterns.

Gary’s professional interests include financial analysis, product development, process improvement and management.

Gary graduated with Honors from Rutgers University School of Business in New Brunswick, NJ with a Bachelor of Science. He later received a Masters of Business Administration by Georgian Court University.

He joined Urner Barry in 2001 as a reporter on the pork desk. He also served as Manager of the Instant Market News Department. He rejoined the firm in 2013 from Merrill Lynch. While at Merrill Lynch for six years, Gary was a financial advisor in their retail division, advising affluent individuals and business owners on investment strategies, retirement and estate planning.

Gary and his wife Melissa have two daughters, Nicole and Lucija. They reside in Beachwood, NJ.

Janice Schreiber

Advertising Product Manager

Janice Schreiber is a seafood market reporter specializing in salmon and crab at Urner Barry. Janice began her career with Urner Barry in the summer of 2004. During this time, she studied and reported the seafood markets and worked with Urner Barry’s advertising customers.

After graduating from the University of Delaware in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with minors in History and Biology, Janice did some undergraduate research on marine policy for the Small Island Developing States (SIDS) with Dr. Biliana Cicin-Sain. Janice was also a summer intern in New Jersey for the Barnegat Bay’s National Estuarine Program in the summer of 2003. During her time at Delaware, Janice participated on the varsity women’s rowing team for four years and was named captain her senior year.

Her current responsibilities include reporting the farmed salmon, wild salmon, king crab, snow crab, and Dungeness crab markets. Janice worked on Urner Barry’s Commercial Guide to Fish and Shellfish and also contributed to the Annual Report on the United States Seafood Industry. Janice is a regular contributor to the Global Aquaculture Alliance’s Global Aquaculture Advocate and Urner Barry’s Reporter newsmagazine.

Janice is a graduate of the 2010 National Fisheries Institute’s Future Leader’s Program. She has also given several presentations on the seafood industry at Urner Barry’s Obsono Workshop and was a speaker at the Boston Seafood Show’s Salmon Council in 2006, NFI’s Technical Conference in Charleston in February of 2009, and University of Florida’s Shrimp School in May of 2009.

Along with her responsibilities in the seafood department, Janice also works to head the advertising sales department.

She currently resides in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.

Liz Cuozzo

Seafood Market Reporter

Liz is a Reporter on the seafood market, covering live lobster, fresh whole fish, halibut, fresh shellfish, frozen mahi and tuna, and catfish. She started with Urner Barry part-time in 2014, and moved to her current full-time position in 2017.

In addition to her role as a market reporter, Liz is also Event Coordinator here at Urner Barry. As such, she is responsible for organizing our annual Executive Conference and our numerous trade shows, as well as other company trips and projects.

Liz brings over ten years experience in the securities industry to Urner Barry, having previously worked in New York and Chicago.

Liz earned her Bachelor of the Arts degree in Finance from Loyola University Maryland.

She resides in Brielle, NJ, with her two sons.

Lorin Castiglione

Seafood Market Reporter

Lorin joined Urner Barry in December 2017 as a seafood market reporter. In that capacity, she covers the markets for scallops, groundfish and processed blocks, pangasius, tilapia, and Chinese catfish. In addition, she reports on snapper, orange roughy, cape capensis, whiting, and sea trout.

Lorin comes to us with 10 years of experience in product development where she previously was a senior trend manager in the footwear industry. Her responsibilities included: analyzing selling reports to understand trend and opportunity, traveling to China twice a year to oversee line building, developing supplier relationships worldwide, and copywriting.

Lorin graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications in 2006.

In addition to her market reporting duties, Lorin is a contributing writer for Urner Barry’s Reporter newsmagazine and also assists with company marketing initiatives.

Lorin and her husband, Greg, have one daughter, Charli, and reside in Toms River, NJ.

Randy Pesciotta

Vice President

Randy S. Pesciotta is the vice president of Urner Barry’s egg department and has been with the company for 27 years.

Randy holds a degree in business administration from the Stockton College of New Jersey where he graduated in 1983.

Randy lives in Toms River, New Jersey with his wife, Kim and children, Morgan and Cole.

Russell Barton


Russell Barton is a market reporter for Urner Barry, where he is responsible for reporting on the pork market. Other job responsibilities include marketing new and existing products, online shop management, product development and social media management.

Russell is also the Product Manager of Urner Barry's online service COMTELL

Russell joined Urner Barry in April 2011; his professional interests include project development and management, media relations and financial analysis.

Russell graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Economics.

Prior to employment at Urner Barry, Russell was a full time student and held a part-time position as an automotive mechanic.

Russell Whitman

Senior Vice President

Russ Whitman is Senior Vice President for Urner Barry and overseas all of the company's market reporting initiatives.

Whitman joined Urner Barry in 1986 and was initially involved with COMTELL sales and support. He also served as Manager of the Instant Market News Department and coordinated the company’s marketing efforts. In addition to his primary market reporting responsibilities, Whitman is actively engaged in all facets of Urner Barry’s events, services and media products. Russ is a frequent presenter at industry events and received commendation from the National Turkey Federation in 2008 for excellence in market reporting. He was most recently Vice President of the Poultry Division.

Whitman graduated from Washington & Lee University, Lexington, Virginia, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with special attainments in Commerce.

Russ has two daughters, Sara and Lauren. He resides in Pine Beach, NJ.


Haidee Elliott

Renewals Manager

Haidee Elliott is a native of New Zealand. She is a senior account manager and manages the line of products and services that Urner Barry represents for the North American Meat Institute.

Haidee joined Urner Barry in 2007 and has served the company in several capacities including market reporting, sales and marketing.

Haidee obtained her degree from Auckland University of Technology.

Laura Zinger

Sales Manager

Laura joined Urner Barry in January of 2018 as an Account Manager. In this role, she supports portions of the southeastern and midwestern United States, Ontario, Russia, and the Middle East. Laura takes great pride in maintaining a personal connection with clients in addition to the highest level of service.

Charged with handling all inquiries for her designated region, Laura proactively engages industry professionals across many channels to provide direct access to her expertise. Through this communication, clients receive timely updates on improvements and changes to Urner Barry products and services, as well as extensive training and support whenever necessary. Laura has also contributed multiple articles to the Urner Barry Reporter magazine and appeared in our Daily Market Videos.

Laura brings to Urner Barry a strong background of sales, finance, and customer service that spans over her 17 years in the workforce. Laura studied psychology at Lehigh University as well as business administration at Brookdale Community College, where she became a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Extremely active in her hometown, Laura also keeps very busy when not in the office. Serving as the coordinator for Neighborhood Watch, a member of the Coalition of Wellness and Prevention, and Head Coach for Youth Soccer are only some of the many ways she serves.

Sandi Veneziano

Customer Service Manager

Sandi manages all aspects of customer service for Urner Barry—assisting with sales, accounts and customer inquiries. She works closely with our team of account managers, overseeing sales progress and marketing efforts.

In addition to these responsibilities, Sandi manages a vast inventory of products, keeping records of sales volumes and cataloguing stores of books and posters. Sandi manages online sales within Urner Barry’s Shop and maintains shipping details and customer notifications.

Sandi joined Urner Barry in 1993, initially working within the Instant Market News department where she assisted in data entry and related applications. She was later promoted to an account manager selling products and services, where she was able to build on her knowledge of company operations and customer service skills.

Sandi graduated from Stockton State College (now Stockton University) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing.

Sandi lives in Barnegat, New Jersey with her husband and three children.

Steve Riestevski

Key Account Manager

Steve joined Urner Barry in the Fall of 2018 as a Key Account Manager and is focusing on developing strategies in conjunction with sales and marketing to further bolster the relationships with our key accounts while also identifying and developing associations with new organizations.

Steve graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in History. Before joining Urner Barry, Steve earned more than 10 years of sales and management experience and most recently spent 4 years with Informa Agribusiness Intelligence where he led the Customer Growth Sales Team for North and South America.

Steve is a native New Jersey resident and currently resides in Wayne, NJ where he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kimberly, and son, Theodore. If Steve isn’t providing customers with support you are likely to find him enjoying Mother Nature, whether its camping, hiking, fishing, or hunting.


Amanda Buckle

Staff Writer

Amanda joined Urner Barry in July 2017 as a staff writer for Her responsibilities include aggregating top seafood industry news from around the globe and writing on developing trends and topics that impact our customers.

Amanda graduated from Monmouth University with a degree in journalism. She brings over six years of experience to her role at Urner Barry, having previously worked as an editor at Mic and International Business Times.

Amanda is also a contributing writer for Urner Barry's Reporter newsmagazine. She also assists in producing news content for various video productions.

Andraia Torsiello

News Assistant

Andraia joined Urner Barry in October 2018 after graduating from Georgian Court University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. In her role here, she assists in searching and posting news content for COMTELL,, and

Andraia also posts original content, contributes to poultry report coverage featured in Urner Barry Newswires, and hosts the Daily Market Video.

While Andraia incorporates her business education into her role, she is passionate about journalism, and is a contributing writer to Urner Barry’s Reporter newsmagazine.

She resides in Toms River, NJ.

Jamie Chadwick


Jamie is the Editorial Director at Urner Barry. As such, she leads the team responsible for delivering the latest in breaking agricultural, seafood, and food industry news to our network of subscribers. She directly manages and executes news content and strategy in order to enhance value and reader experience across all news platforms, including COMTELL,, and offerings.

In addition to her role as Director, Jamie continues to write and edit original content for the company, while also contributing to livestock reporting and futures market coverage as featured in Urner Barry Newswires. In addition to various daily reports, Jamie authors a popular weekly column featured on COMTELL and that highlights retail grocery activity as a result of seasonal swings, wholesale market action and consumer trends.

Jamie joined Urner Barry in August 2011 as part of our sales team before entering the News division in 2014. She was subsequently promoted to Production Editor of UB Newswires, then appointed to the position of Editorial Director in 2018.

Jamie is a regular contributor to Urner Barry's Reporter Magazine and is also a Copy Editor of the publication. She also hosts Urner Barry's Daily Market Video and collaborates with a small team during the entire production process for this broadcast, as well as on special video segments and projects.

She worked in managing, writing and editing The Beef Book, which was published in conjunction with the North American Meat Institute in 2014, as well as The Pork Book published in 2017.

Jamie moved to New Jersey in 2010 after graduating from Lake Superior State University in Michigan where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in Marketing.

John Sackton

John began writing seafood industry news in 1977, and has worked in all areas of the industry, from fisheries management, trade associations and magazines, to running his own seafood import business, to being general manager for Baader North America.

In that capacity, John got to know most of the major seafood processing companies and vessels from Alaska to Mississippi to Newfoundland. After leaving Baader in 1994 John founded to provide news services, market analysis and consulting to the industry.


Frank Mallia

Network Technician

Frank began his career with Urner Barry in February of 1990. He is currently the Senior Network Specialist.

Working within Urner Barry's IT department, Frank oversees the company's infrastructure of communication and technological systems.

Frank also played an integral role in the planning and installation of the network when the company moved headquarters in May 2016.

In addition to his IT responsibilities, Frank is also the Shipping Manager for all outgoing company products and packages. He also acts as a Pressroom Operator on behalf of Urner Barry's Printing department.

Joe Bless

Full Stack Developer

Joe joined Urner Barry in 2012 as a Web Developer and IT Administrator.

Joe is an integral part of our IT team and has worked towards developing all UB websites and services including and COMTELL. Joe also facilitated the transition to Urner Barry's new headquarters in 2016, seamlessly moving the entire IT infrastructure from the old facility to the company's new building.

Prior to UB, Joe served five years active duty in the United States Marine Corps working on the Communication, Navigation, and Weapons systems of F/A-18 aircrafts along with various other collateral duties including HAZMAT coordination and OSHA safety compliance.

Joe graduated Stockton University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, with a focus on Information Systems. He is currently married and living in Bayville, NJ.

Laura Rowley

Project Manager, Systems Development

Laura joined Urner Barry in 2012 and is currently a Senior Web Developer.

Laura serves as the lead developer for our premier service, COMTELL. She has pioneered numerous enhancements on the site including the notifications system, history and improved charting capabilities.

Prior to UB, Laura had nearly 20 years of programming experience in Microsoft technologies, database management, and client-side scripting.

Laura is a pivotal member of Urner Barry's IT department who's creativity and expertise has helped to keep the services our customers value both user-friendly and on the cutting edge of technology.

Shailesh Patel

Senior Web Developer

Shailesh is a Senior Developer at Urner Barry. He began his career with the company in 2000, focusing his efforts within the IT department and maintaining and developing the inter-workings of all UB sites and products. He most notably specializes in data retrieval and analysis.

Shailesh graduated from Gujarat University in India where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. He went on to get a Masters in Mechanical Engineering (Powder Metallurgy) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Shailesh currently lives with his wife and two sons in Galloway Township, NJ.

Subhashini Padmanabhan

.NET Developer

Subhashini joined Urner Barry in 2019 as a developer. She is contributing in the development of the new COMTELL with latest technologies.

Subha has full stack development experience in building applications and website using .net Framework, SQL Server and other latest technologies. She has prior experience in developing applications for the financial and manufacturing industry.

She always has quest to update herself with latest trends and technologies. She graduated from Anna University (formerly Madras University) with a bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Instant Market News:

Christin Chase


Christin is the Operations Manager for Urner Barry's premier service, COMTELL. In this capacity, she is responsible for managing functions within the Instant Market News department, including data entry and proofing.

In addition, Christin largely oversees organizational responsibilities and expertly coordinates the processes behind maintaining the extensive database of UB market information.

Christin has been with Urner Barry since 2007. During that time, she has facilitated numerous improvements to our service interface. She has been an integral part of enhancing our data and design to make it more user-friendly for our valued customers.

Christin studied at Northern Illinois University, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Communicative Disorders.

Jenna Espada

Operations Assistant

Jenna joined our Instant Market News department in August 2015. In this capacity, she works within Urner Barry's daily operations, entering data points and proofing reports for accuracy.

Jenna oversees the construction of many daily and weekly publications, and assists with disseminating reports to customers via email and fax.

Jenna moved to New Jersey in 2010 from Brooklyn, New York. She brings organizational and data entry experience from her previous job working in the fashion district in Manhattan.

Sarah Mannon

Operations Assistant

Sarah joined Urner Barry in 2015, working in the Instant Market News department.

Sarah is responsible for a variety of day-to-day operations, including data entry and ensuring all UB reports are thoroughly proofed for accuracy.

Sarah also helps maintain Urner Barry's Retail database by updating product features from circulars around the country.

Sarah graduated with honors from Kean University in January 2015 with a degree in English.

Tara Wyckoff

Operations Assistant

Tara began her career at Urner Barry in September of 2014 in the Instant Market News Department.

In the IMN department, Tara facilitates everyday tasks such as collecting, proofing, and publishing market reports in a timely fashion. In addition, she helps maintain Urner Barry's database and ensures the information is up to date and accurate each and every day.

Tara graduated from Ocean County College with her Liberal Arts degree in May of 2009.


Allison Zdenek

Staff Accountant

Allison joined Urner Barry in August of 2018 as the Staff Accountant. She completes most of the reports for the sales team, analyzes financial data for special projects, oversees payroll and tax compliance, and works with the accounting team to reconcile the accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Before beginning her career at Urner Barry, Allison spent several years working for the State of NJ Department of Environmental Protection as an Analyst in the audit department.

Allison graduated from Kean University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. She lives in Forked River, NJ, with her husband and four children.

Kevin Farley


As Controller of our accounting department here at Urner Barry, Kevin is responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day financial operations.

Kevin graduated from Monmouth University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a concentration in Business Management.

Kevin and his wife currently reside in Brick, NJ.

Melanie Powitz

Accounts Receivable

Melanie joined Urner Barry in September 2008, initially working in customer service and collections. In this capacity she managed account details and billing on behalf of our valued subscribers. She worked closely with our team of sales representatives, communicating account status and furthering marketing efforts for products and services.

In April 2014, Melanie joined the Accounting team where she works closely with the sales team and is responsible for receiving orders and setting up customer billing. In addition, Melanie assists in invoicing existing customers, receiving and posting payments.

Melanie brought customer service and accounts management experience from her previous positions at Merrill Lynch and Prudential.

Melanie graduated from University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal Organizational Communication.

Nicole Espada

Accounts Receivable

Nicole Espada works in the Accounting department of Urner Barry after starting her career in the Instant Market News department.

Nicole joined the IMN team in August of 2014 while continuing to pursue her degree in, Business Accounting at Kean University in Toms River, New Jersey.

Nicole has also expanded her professional interests to include recruiting new talent to join the UB team of professionals. Nicole attends various job fairs, offering insight into exciting career opportunities with our ever-growing company to future college graduates.


Bridgette Hanson

Collections Associate

Bridgette Hanson began at Urner Barry in 2018 as a Collections Assistant, gradually taking on the added role of licensing compliance as well.

Working closely with our account managers, Bridgette is responsible for managing subscription billing as well as further marketing of our products to current customers.

Bridgette resides in Toms River, NJ.

Joanne Schneider


Joanne has been a Receptionist for Urner Barry since 1998. At that time, market quotations and information was reported, in part, via phone. Prior to COMTELL Online and email services, customers would call in and Joanne would provide any changes along with the tone of the market.

Currently, her primary responsibilities include handling incoming calls and directing customers to the appropriate points of contact.

Joanne is also in charge of handling many office related duties, including sorting and distributing mail, assisting in various clerical tasks on behalf of various UB departments, and ordering office supplies.

In addition, Joanne works closely with our principals and employees to facilitate duties and assist in special projects and occasions.

Lynn Dekovitch

Executive Secretary

Lynn is the Administrative Assistant for Urner Barry. In this role, she coordinates functions relating to company benefits, including medical insurance, life insurance, 401k and profit sharing.

In addition, Lynn performs a variety of office duties and facilitates correspondence on behalf of Urner Barry's principals. She also compiles and maintains data for Urner Barry's National Weekly Hatch Report.

Lynn is also involved in coordinating Urner Barry's Annual Executive Conference. She handles registrations and assists our attendees with any questions they might have.

Lynn started her career with Urner Barry part-time in 1976 while she was still in high school. She later graduated Ocean County College with an Associate's degree in Applied Science. She began working full-time in 1979.

Maria Morales


Maria is a Multimedia Designer responsible for video, marketing and advertising design.

Maria joined Urner Barry in 2005 as a Production Assistant in the Instant Market News department. She then moved into the Printing Department and worked as a Graphic Designer for five years.

As UB entered the online video space and customer demand for additional media sources increased, Maria was then promoted to multimedia where she is involved in all aspects of our video productions as both director and editor.

In addition, Maria also creates advertising and web graphics, and does layout and design for Urner Barry books and marketing materials.

Maria graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design.

Sean Plunkett

Publications and Research Assistant

Sean is a Publications and Research Assistant at Urner Barry, managing data systems and online databases.

Sean joined the Urner Barry team soon after graduating from the Martin Tuchman School of Management at the New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Marketing.

Starting as an intern in the summer of 2017, Sean began a fulltime role the following year. Sean specializes in database management as well as circulation management of Urner Barry’s Reporter Magazine. In addition to this, he also works closely with the UB Podcast as an editor.

Sean currently lives in Toms River, NJ.

Glenn Juszczak

Senior Graphic Designer

Since graduating from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Glenn has had over 35 years experience in the graphic design/publishing industry, the last 20 of which have been with Urner Barry.

When Glenn first started with the company, he was directly in charge of the production of all Urner Barry's daily, monthly and yearly publications and printed products. He was also in charge of the day-to-day operations of the commercial printing division, including design, customer service, estimating, ordering, scheduling and fulfillment.

As the print division expanded and more staff were added, Glenn's responsibilities shifted to strictly creative endeavors, including many of Urner Barry's printed offerings, logos and web graphics. He also works extensively designing printed materials for the many commercial print customers that are serviced by Urner Barry on a daily basis.

Glenn and his wife, Marion, live in Manahawkin, NJ and they have three grown daughters and three grandchildren.

Jay Bailey

Account Manager

Jay Bailey is an Account Manager for Urner Barry, where he is responsible for selling a wide array of printed materials. From letterhead and envelopes to newsletters and postcard mailings—if it's paper, he can print it!

Jay originally joined the Urner Barry team as a junior in high school in October 1999 and was promoted to the Job Printing department in June of 2004. He is expertly-trained in Urner Barry's design, printing and mailing operations and works one-on-one with clients to ensure they get exactly what they need.

Jay graduated Ocean County College in May 2004 with an Associate's degree in Business Administration. In addition, he graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in June 2007 with a degree in Hospitality Management.

Jay currently resides in Little Egg Harbor, NJ, with his wife Cori.

Jim Daly

Operations Manager

Jim joined Urner Barry in March 2014 as an Account Manager within the Printing department.

In this capacity, Jim is primarily focused on serving the needs of our non-profit printing customers, creating design, print and mailing solutions for clients' fundraising efforts.

Jim brings 30 years of prior experience in the printing industry to his role at Urner Barry. He graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Printing Management.

Jim currently resides in Farmingdale, NJ, a town in which he also serves as Mayor. He lives with his wife, Christine, and four children.

Rachel Kelly

Assistant Operations Manager/Mailing Coordinator

Rachel is an Assistant Operations Manager and Mailing Coordinator for Urner Barry's Printing and Mailing department. She has been with Urner Barry since 2007, starting out as a Research/Bindery Assistant.

Currently, Rachel is in charge of making sure day to day operations in the Printshop run smoothly. She oversees everything from pre-press through production and deliveries. She also processes mailing lists, prepares all the necessary paperwork and acts as a liaison with the U.S. postal service on behalf of our printing customers.

In addition, Rachel oversees the addressing of mailings while helping to manage pressroom functions and deliveries. She also assists in handling customer needs, orders, and inquiries.

Rachel holds a Bachelor's degree from Kean University. She has also received her Mail Piece Design certification as well as several other Postal Management certifications.


Paul Brown

Paul began working for Urner Barry in June 1977 after graduating from the University of Maryland at College Park.

Paul has reported cash prices on the seafood market for Urner Barry for almost 40 years specializing in shrimp price discovery.

Rick Brown

For the past 25 years, Rick Brown has worked to maintain and improve the quality and accuracy of all published market reports at Urner Barry by establishing a high level of communication with all segments of the industry.

In November 1998, Brown analyzed, developed and began publishing the European Union Egg Products Market which is published on Fridays and used throughout Europe as a reference in spot trading. Since June of 1985, he has been reporting the egg and egg products market and is a frequent speaker at industry meetings on these topics. Rick started with Urner Barry in 1981 as the COMTELL® systems manager.

Rick graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Transportation.

Michael O'Shaughnessy

Michael W. O’Shaughnessy has been a market reporter of the chicken market for the firm since 1988.

Michael graduated from Upsala College, East Orange, New Jersey, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. He joined Urner Barry in 1984 as a sales representative for COMTELL®, while holding the position of sales manager for Comtell.

Michael is also the editor of Urner Barry’s Weekly Insider’s Poultry Report.

Michael was a former president of the West Washington Market Men’s Club.

Michael resides in Brielle, NJ, with his wife, Kara, and three children.
